Jared has spent the past ten years alongside professionals from food & pharma-chem, emerging as a seasoned scale-up chemist and process designer. He has a Master's degree in Agroecology from UNC-A and this focus on efficient engineering & management of greenhouses provides a natural intuition when optimizing chemical processes and businesses.

Jared’s academic foundation is reinforced by 1000s of hours operating solvent recovery, LLE, fractional distillation and supercritical CO2 equipment and burnished by entrepreneurial grit. Quick to smile, he believes sincerity brings success.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR

Christie began her administrative career in 1997. Her 20 plus years of experience includes customer service, procurement, project management, accounting, logistics, human resources and continuous improvement/education.

All of these elements are critical to Apical’s success as well as its clients. With her passion to create a positive customer experience, she is eager to see American manufacturing and development reinvigorated.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

The name Drinkwine is ubiquitous in the halls of some of the largest pharmaceutical firms in the world. An electrical engineer turned GSK scientist, Duane’s tenure in drug development and process safety gives him extraordinary insight into the design and implementation of all scales and applications of chemistry.

With that, Duane’s nearly 30 years in pharma allows for a practical and simply-explained approach when addressing the needs of even the most complex projects. And, his kind, determined nature is an extraordinary blend of life experience that lends itself to the success of Apical.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Keith is the definition of a quality sales professional with both a documented record of closing and a reputation for strong, long-term client relationships. Having spent nearly 15 years in the spirits and supercritical CO2 extraction industries, Keith has a unique insight into acquiring market share in emerging and resurgent industries.

His hard-working and consistent character is credited to his roots in upstate New York where Keith hails from a large family known for celebrating one another heartily. Apical is lucky to have his experience as we grow.
